Dog Food Fix provides educational pet nutrition guidance. It is not a veterinary consultation, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or emergency advice service.
Cat Food Fix is not currently available. Dog Food Fix scoring, reports, search, and recommendations are dog-specific and must not be used for cats.
All reports are based on food label analysis and published nutrition principles (FEDIAF 2025, NRC). They are intended to help you make an informed decision, not to replace professional veterinary advice.
When to Contact a Vet
If your dog is unwell, has a medical condition, or shows symptoms like vomiting, weight loss, or lethargy, please contact a registered veterinary surgeon immediately.
Do not use Dog Food Fix if your dog is on a therapeutic prescription diet without consulting the prescribing vet first.

Calorie and portion estimates are informed approximations. Individual dogs vary in metabolism and activity. Use our estimates as a starting point and adjust based on regular weight checks.
Label Data
Assessments are based on information available on labels. We cannot verify manufacturing conditions or batch variations. We use the latest data available in our manually curated database.
