Discover what’s really in your dog’s food
The short answer
PetFoodFix is a free educational database for US dog owners. Search a food and read what its label declares — the ingredient split in order, the named protein, the guaranteed analysis and the calorie statement — then see a score from 0 to 100 built across six dimensions: protein quality, protein quantity, naturalness, the first five ingredients, transparency and completeness. The score follows the label, never a commercial relationship, and none of it is veterinary advice.
The US database is free to search: brands sold at major retailers, premium lines and direct-to-consumer foods, all read against the same objective framework we use in the UK and Brazil.

Built for US labels
US pet food is regulated by the FDA and by state feed control officials, and most manufacturers formulate to AAFCO nutrient profiles. The level of transparency on the label still varies enormously between brands.
PetFoodFix was designed to read the labels you are actually holding: the AAFCO adequacy statement, the guaranteed analysis, the ingredient split and the calorie statement — scored against the same framework everywhere.
